"Effects of a Sincere Magic- PART 1”

Tsumugi: We’re home.
Tasuku: We’re back.
Izumi: Welcome back.
Kumon: Woah, you two look so savvy!
Muku: Suits are really charming, aren’t they!
Kumon: Where did you guys head off to?
Tsumugi: Our classmate had their marriage ceremony.
Muku: A marriage ceremony…! How nice!
Kumon: Oh? But didn’t you guys just go to another ceremony a while back too?[1]
Izumi: There seems to be quite the wedding rush this year… Especially around this time…
Tsumugi: Ahaha, sure seems like it.
Tasuku: It’s not so bad, though. It’s been a while since we’ve seen most of those guys, so it practically feels like a class reunion.
Kumon: Wedding rush?
Izumi: It’s that really busy feeling when you get invited for marriage ceremonies… You and Muku will understand this too, someday…
Muku: But you know, if it were me, just the sight of my friend’s happiest moment would make me feel just as happy for them!
Tsumugi: Fufu, that’s just like you, Muku-kun.
Kumon: Hm? You got something sticking out of your bag, Tsumugi-san.
Tsumugi: Oh you’re right. The ribbon is peeking out.
Tasuku: Hang on, have you been carrying that around with you this whole time…?
Izumi: What ribbon?
Tsumugi: This here.
Muku: Wah, that’s super cute…! There’s a ribbon tied at the end of the wand!
Tasuku: It’s apparently called a ribbon wand. I wasn’t familiar with them until we used them for this ceremony.
Kumon: What's their use in weddings?
Tsumugi: When the newlyweds come towards, you shake these in front of them to signify the celebration. You can think of it as a substitute for flower showers or even rice showers.
Tasuku: Though they don’t really have any other purpose once the ceremony is done, so technically you’re free to bring them back with you, but…

▶︎ CHOICE 1: It’s a bit of a shame…
Izumi: But it’s so cute, it’d be a bit of a shame to just throw it away as is…
Tsumugi: Right? I wonder if there’s any other stuff we could use it for…
Izumi: In that case, it might come in handy for a stage prop, wouldn’t it?
Tasuku: That’s not a bad idea, I suppose, but… Considering our troupe, it may never see the light of day again.
Tsumugi: But we could still use it outside of the troupe, too. Like how we had that play in the ceremonial hall before.
Izumi: Ah, but if we put this in the storage room, it might take a long while to get it out of there.
Tsumugi: Ahaha… Manager might get another workout from just searching it, huh.

▶︎ CHOICE 2: What other arrangements were there?
Izumi: Weddings have a lot of different arrangements, don’t they? What else did they have there?
Tsumugi: Let me think… One thing that really impressed me in this previous ceremony was this really large ballon cracker, where a bunch of balloons would come out of it—
Izumi: Ohh, those ones! Those are pretty cute!
Tsumugi: Yes, I thought that they were really pretty.
Izumi: If you were ever going to do one, Tsumugi-san, then what do you think about having a really big special cracker made— One that would have flowers pop out?
Tsumugi: With flowers…?

Izumi: O-of course, I mean with fake flowers! Not with real ones…
Tsumugi: Ah… Right, yes. I almost thought you meant real flowers, and I ended up getting upset over my own imagination.
Izumi: (Tsumugi-san really REALLY treasures all flowers, doesn’t he…!?)

Kumon:
Hey hey, Tsumugi-san! Is it okay if I can have these for a bit?
Tsumugi: Eh, you mean the ribbon wand? I don’t really mind…
Tasuku: You can have mine too.
Kumon: Are you sure?! Great! Tsumugi-san, Tasuku-san, thank you!
Tasuku: He sure seems peppy, what could he be using those for…
Tsumugi: Hmm… I have no idea myself, but if Kumon’s delighted to receive them, then that’s good enough, right?

"Effects of a Sincere Magic- PART 2”

Taichi: Urk.. It’s no good, I’m done for… Kyu-chan, save yourself…
Kumon: You shouldn’t give up, Taichi-san!
Tsumugi: We’re home.
Izumi: Hey guys.
Itaru: Welcome back~
Taichi: My strength… it’s slipping…
Kumon: Taichi-san! Taichi-san!!!
Izumi: …What exactly is happening here?
Itaru: Seems like Kumon is making use of the ribbon wands that he got from Tsumugi and Tasuku and is now doing an etude.
Izumi: That sure is one intense etude, then…!
Itaru: He said that it looked like a magic staff of sorts, which is why he’s flinging it around like that. Just the sight of it charged up the flames of the chuunibyou soul inside of him… But that’s just a theory.
Tsumugi: You’re not joining in, Itaru-kun?
Itaru: Just biding for the right time.
Kumon: Urk… Not again…I have to reset it all over again… I have to make sure the next timeline will be the one where I save Taichi-san…
CLOCK BAROQUE RENAISSANCE!
Izumi: …A parallel world?
Tsumugi: Not quite. He hints that he’s reset a number of times already, so it must be more like a time loop.
Itaru: Now where have I seen that plot before…
Misumi: Let me help out! In order to save Taichi, we must turn back time!
Itaru: Enter Misumi, stage right.
Tsumugi: Huh? Misumi’s also holding a ribbon wand, but it’s different from what Tasuku and I had… It’s a triangular version of it.
Maybe he made it himself?
Itaru: Right, it’s about time for my entrance.
…Fufufu, I’ve already switched the clocks beforehand. You fools can no longer turn back time with the clocks you possess now…!
Kumon: N-No way!
Misumi: All we wanted was to go back and save Taichi…!
Taichi: Pl-please just forget about me… Your feelings alone… are enough for me… Uu..
Izumi: (It can’t possibly get any more chaotic than this…)
Itaru:
Tsumugi: …?
Izumi: (Hm? Is Itaru-san looking towards Tsumugi-san’s way?)
Taichi: I’m all done for, this wand no longer holds any more magic power in it… It’s all up to you now, Tsumugi-san!
Tsumugi: …Kumon-kun!
Kumon: Tsumugi-san!? I thought you had been sealed away…
Tsumugi: I could finally be free from my seal, thanks to your strong desires, Kumon-kun. That’s why, this time, I’ll answer those very wishes of yours.
Now then, I shall grant you every ounce of my power…!
Misumi: And mine too! Kumon, take down Itaru for us!
Kumon: Everyone, thank you…! UOOOGHH, I can feel my power overflowing…!
With this, I can definitely do it! Here it comes, Itaru-san—!!!!
Itaru: HOOOOWAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHH!!!!
Taichi: It’s… It’s all over. The clock shattered, and now we can’t go back in time again…
Kumon: But now that the evil has been defeated, from now on we can keep on living in our timeline in peace…!
Tsumugi: We’ve finally achieved it—a world to call our own…!
Misumi: Hooray! Three cheers!!!

Sakyo: WILL YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP!!!
Kumon: WAH!?
Itaru: …The final boss has arrived.
Taichi: S-Sakyo-nii! It’s just an etude, an etude!!
Misumi: Sakyo has come roaring.
Kumon: T-Taichi-san’s right! It’s just acting practice—
Sakyo: If it’s really for practice then don’t go stomping and yelling in the living room and just get out to do street acts!
Kumon: Hiieee!!
Sakyo: …For crying out loud.
Tsumugi: T-Twirling and twirling…. Aaand, there.
Sakyo: …Ha?
Tsumugi: U-Uhm… It’s a charm to cool your temper down… Kind of.
Sakyo:(sighs)
Alright, fine. Well, if I had to comment about the etude itself, the acting and the setting weren’t all that bad.
You might as well show this off to other people when you go out to town next time.
Kumon: Huh? Did his anger really subside…?
Taichi: More than that, I think he just complimented us…?
Izumi: So Sakyo-san was actually watching you guys as well.
Itaru: Tsumugi OP. Cheat code overload.
Tsumugi: I-I’m glad that my magic worked out… I guess?
