Izumi: I made lots of food together with Omi-kun. Eat up, everyone!
Tenma: Sandwiches, scones, and cakes...

Tsumugi: … You know, the thing about time capsules, as time goes on, from the moment you bury it up to the time you dig it up again, it feels as if whatever’s in it will become much more valuable than before.
Tasuku: … What’s with that all of a sudden?
Tsumugi: The novel I’m reading right now just mentioned it, so it got me thinking.
Tasuku: I don’t think it's always limited to that. For example, your childhood toy may be something you treasure when you were a kid, but ten years later you’d probably look at it like it’s a piece of junk.
Tsumugi: ...You think so?
Tasuku: If it’s something that doesn’t change with your sense of value even after a period of time, then it’d probably be interesting for a time capsule.
Tsumugi: Unchanging with your values, huh.
Tasuku: That’s right.
Tsumugi: Have you decided on what you’ll use, Tasuku?
Tasuku: No, I haven’t thought of one yet. What about the others?

Homare: I have decided to put this into the capsule!

Tsumugi: A picture frame?
Homare: It has a poem with my own handwriting in it. I’m reserving my fine arts for the sake of posterity in the future.

Tsumugi: Ahaha… We have to make sure that the capsule will be big enough to fit it, then.

Tsumugi: Bag of marshmallows?
Hisoka: … It’d be nice to have my favorite kind to collect.

Azuma: Yes. But, it’s a secret.
It’s something I really cherish. I’m curious to see what the future me ten years from now will feel about it when he sees it.

Guy: I’m thinking of putting in this photograph we took from Zahra.

Tasuku: I still can’t seem to come to terms with what just yet.
Tsumugi: In this novel, they put in stuff like newspapers from their time, their favorite things, whatever would make them remember that moment.
You could even write a letter for your future self...
Tasuku: You suggest that, but what would I even write? I think the current me and the future me will still be myself, wouldn’t it?
Tsumugi: Well, you do have a point, but...
Tasuku: What are you thinking of putting in, then?
Tsumugi: Mhm… I was thinking of something like a script.
The writing within a script… Even after ten years have passed, no matter how many times I would want to dig it up again, I’m certain that I’d feel deeply moved when I get to see it in the future.
Tasuku: I feel the same.
Tsumugi: Though, the more I think about the different options, the more I can’t seem to make a decision.
Tasuku: Well, it’s not like you have a limited time to choose something, so there’s no harm in thinking about it more carefully.
Tsumugi: Yeah, I suppose you’re right.

Izumi: (Looks like Tsumugi-san is tending to the flowers by himself today.)
Would you like some help there?
Tsumugi: Ah, that would be great.
Could you water the planters over there while I pull out some weeds?
Izumi: Sure!
Speaking of, has the Winter Troupe already dug their time capsule?
Tsumugi: No, we haven’t yet.
Izumi: It seems like the Summer Troupe had already done theirs. With the courtyard being the best place to dig, they were already enthusiastic about it.
Tsumugi: Is that so. We didn’t take too long deciding our items to bury either.
Izumi: What did you all go with?
Tsumugi: A personalized poem, one’s favorite marshmallow bag, a photograph… Tasuku hasn’t filled me in on his yet but it’s likely going to be a spare script.
Izumi: Everyone’s own quirk is really coming out, huh. What did you choose for yourself, Tsumugi-san?
Tsumugi: Actually… I wrote a letter for my future self.
Izumi: That sounds nice!
Tsumugi: Although, it ended up being like a diary, and I didn’t actually get to write anything really significant.
I took inspiration from a novel I was reading. The memories that they wrote from that time got into fine details, and I felt that it would be nice to be able to remember my own memories like that as well...
Izumi: I see.
Tsumugi: For example, this morning before practice, when Homare-san announced that he’d made a new poem. I wrote down what I could more or less make out from it…
And when Hisoka-kun fell asleep during breaktime while embracing his bag of marshmallows… As well as when Azuma-san offered his lap for Hisoka afterwards…
Also, when Guy-san and Tasuku started to get into a long, continuous discussion about the direction of their acting...
The things that everyone did, even the contents of the trivial idle talk… I wrote down a scene of what was a truly normal but natural Winter Troupe during our practice session.
Izumi: A deliberate documentation of what’s the everyday norm… That’s somewhat beautiful!
Tsumugi: I suppose if they were to read this they would think “Why did you write something so ordinary?”
Izumi: If it’s ten years from now… This must be Tsumugi-san’s way of being able to look back at memories of what the everyday of this time is like, right?
Tsumugi: I wonder… Just imagining it makes me a little excited.
Izumi: Fufu, let’s look forward to it then.
